^Lot 1092 T DYER CONVERSION MP5K HOST GUN WITH REGISTERED

AUTO SEAR. Cal. 9 (9x19mm). S# 21-26742 (receiver) H1289 (sear pack). Bbl. 4 3/4". Originally mfg. by HK as an SP89, this example was subsequently converted into an MP5K configuration by T Dyer and fitted with a registered auto sear. The top of the receiver is marked "HK MP5 K", followed by original factory markings consisting of the S# and a triad of German proof marks, with the sear S# "H 1289" marked on the lower left side. Right side of the receiver is marked "T Dyer/ Heyworth, IL" to the right of the lower stock pin slot, beneath the stock. Metal components exhibit a black enamel finish overall, save for on some internal parts, which exhibit a phosphate finish. MP5K pattern black synthetic vertical foregrip and 3-position "S", "E", "F" marked trigger pack housing, with steel side-folding Fleming Firearms K stock. Standard post front sight and 4-position square notch drum rear sight. NFA registry lists "HECKLER & KOCH" as the mfg. of the sear. Sear pack mfg. markings are illegible save for "OK" and the S#. MAGS: x1 HK 30-rd. CONDITION: excellent, with metal components retaining virtually all of their black enamel finish, exhibiting a few light superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Polymer furniture is very good overall. PROVENANCE: Military Museum Collection of Shooters Outpost, Hooksett NH.
